Special Baby

Meet Un-named Baby, a six-week-old female Chihuahua rescued by my mother-in-law. Evidently my mother-in-law's neighbors are animal haters, and were poised to toss this poor critter into the trash. As luck would have it, the adults that live next door to my mother-in-law have not yet completed the brainwashing of their offspring into the next generation of cold-hearted murderers. The kids brought the puppy to my mother-in-law, who promptly gave the baby a new home.

Baby
"Are you possessed with the kind of heart that would have you throw me away?"
Baby
Jacqueline wasn't quite sure what to make of this puppy, but she knew she liked her.

Words can't describe how I feel about people that would toss an innocent, defenseless life into the trash. But there are laws that describe the punishment afforded them for doing so. (Not to mention the laws I would violate if I witnessed such a cruel act.)

But at least there are still people like my mother-in-law to stop them.

Be sure to check out the Carnival of the Dogs at Mickey's Musings, and the Friday Ark at The Modulator for more interesting animals.

What a little cutie pie. Horrible people, would like to dump them in a trash heap when it is 15 degrees outside, with no food, no coat, and see how long they would last. People like that should be prohibited from ever having animals of any sort, and probably kids too.

OMG.. she is just too adorable. Bless you for giving her a home.

Monsters who could harm such a precious little animal are probably also capable of eating their own young. Heartless, soul-less bastards!

What a cutie, though! Seriously, anyone could easily find her a good home in about 30 seconds.

That's wonderful that she received a good home. Some people can be so cruel. I can't believe they were going to put her in the trash. That's truly very scary. If they would do that, what else are they capable of doing?

It reminds me of my two cats that I adopted. They were only four weeks old when someone put them into a paper bag and placed it in the middle of a busy street. Luckily, one of the drivers for the company I work for spotted and brought the bag back to work. In my desire to find a home for them, I became attached to them and adopted them.

Isn't there some kind of law against abandoning pets in the trash?!?

Some people are just unbelievable!

Since by law animals are still considered property people can do what ever the heck the want to for the most part. Animal rights laws suck. Here's wishing your mother-in-law and pup a long and happy life together!
